Two Rides to Choose From
- Long – 60 miles
- Short – 45 miles
See the Day 4 Routes
Today you have a chance to see the real Vermont with Villages dating back to when America was new and you’ll ride quiet road and take in the scenery. And about 8 mile before the finish, you cross the West Dummerston covered bridge. Built in 1872, it is at 280 feet the longest covered bridge entirely within the state of Vermont. Be sure to stop in the parking lot before the bridge and walk down to the West River with it’s sandy shoreline.
And if you are hungry when you get back to Putney, you’ll pass the same places you did on the way into town on Monday.
Yoga fans: a restorative class will be available again today at 3:30 at PutneyMoves.
Below is a list of some of the places to look out for along the way. No need to write them down, they will all be highlighted on the maps
