Your entry fee includes camping accommodations Friday, August 4th through Thursday, August 10th.
For 5-day riders who start riding on Monday, you are welcome to arrive on Sunday and camp overnight (no charge).
In addition to camping, you can roll out your sleeping bag indoors or stay off site at one of the places listed below.
We usually stay at local schools and people bring their own tents, sleeping bags, etc, which we transport from site to site.
Every night there will be toilets and hot showers available.
For those who are not crazy about camping, we offer several alternatives:
Indoor camping in school gyms will be available each night where you can lay out your sleeping bag (tents not permitted).
If you are not sure about camping, setting up a tent each day or don’t have camping equipment, consider using our “No Hassle Camping” services provided by Comfy Campers. Please contact them directly for this option. Please note that Comfy Campers is only able to offer the full week option
Off site accommodations
For those who prefer to stay in inns, we have a list of preferred accommodations near each of our overnight stops. We prefer these mostly because of location, but have made no special arrangements with any of them. We will provide transportation if you need it.
Please use the UMass Amherst suggestions, but there are lots of other choices within a short drive.
